ARU, a day with a view (lol, that rhymes)

Hi!

This ARU ROCKS! I got 2 hours of OT, 1 hour of PT and a session on local resources.

The icky news was the Cortisol Challenge test. I didn't know it would have side effects. Set off the spaz attack (a mild case) but then it returned at 4 o'clock. YUCK! So, had to call my Neurologist because the Physiologist thought I was having tremor because my muscles were weak but they weren't. Got my medicine and still feel better.

Looks like I"ll stay until the 11th.

I'm making friends here. A Rabbi gave me a blessing today to get well and as he turned to leave, I said "Thank you, that means more to me than you know"! and he stopped in his tracks and came back for a little bit to say hi.

It will take 2 more days to get the Cortisol Challenge test results back. If it's good, then we can wean that prednisone! Prednisone weaning is a good thing but he wants to move fast so there are side effects like pain, fatigue, etc.....but I can bear that! It only lasts a little while and the fastest I can get off prednisone,....the better!

Thanks for writing !
Teresa
